This month, we’re heading down to the bayou — 183 style. Bill’s taking over the kitchen with his signature “Cajun but not spicy” jambalaya, a hearty, flavourful mix of chicken, sausage, and rice simmered to perfection. It’s got all the warmth and soul of Louisiana cooking, without the burn.
Your meal includes:

Join us at our October President’s Request Dinner — a tradition where the President sets the menu for the night.
This dinner has been crafted with something for every appetite. We’ll be serving classic comfort staples that stand strong on their own, with the option to make your plate as hearty as you wish.
🍽 The Menu
Caesar Salad – crisp romaine, garlic croutons, creamy dressing, parmesan
Garlic Bread – golden loaves brushed with garlic and herbs
Spaghetti for All Appetites – slow-simmered sauce over tender pasta, with toppings to suit your taste
Dessert – seasonal sweets to finish the night
Why This Menu?
The goal is simple: warm plates and happy tables. Everyone gets a meal that feels just right, while sharing the same table together.

We have added a donation box at the club to support neighbours in our community. Members can drop off non-perishable items any time the club is open. Donations are delivered weekly to the local food bank.
• Canned proteins such as tuna, salmon, chicken, beans, or chilli
• Canned vegetables and fruit
• Peanut butter or other nut and seed butters
• Pasta, rice, couscous, oatmeal, cereal
• Shelf-stable milk or alternatives
• Soup, stew, and pasta sauce
• Baby items such as formula and diapers
• Toiletries and period products
• Expired or near-expired items
• Opened or home-made foods
• Perishables that require refrigeration
• Damaged or unlabelled tins

We’re excited to announce the return of the President’s Request Dinners — happening on the first Friday of every month at the 183 Club!
The tradition is simple: the President chooses the menu, and we all enjoy a great meal together. The fee will be nominal, just enough to cover costs, and the atmosphere will be priceless.
Who’s Welcome?
Everyone with a connection to the 183 Club — members, family, friends, and community members. If you’ve got an association with the Club, you’re part of the family, and you’re welcome at our table.
Come for the food, stay for the fellowship. Let’s make the first Friday of each month a time to share great meals, great stories, and great company.
We’re raising the bar for cleanliness and comfort at the 183 Club. We’ve contracted Binx Professional Cleaning (binx.ca) through Scott Binkley to provide weekly cleaning services throughout the club, ensuring our spaces are fresh, welcoming, and ready for members to enjoy.
To kick things off, Binx will be performing a full deep clean before the end of August. This will include wall washing, deep cleaning of the kitchen cupboards, appliances, and floors, plus thorough detailing in the washrooms.
From the entrance and stairwell to the kitchen, hall, washrooms, and everywhere in between, the club will be receiving professional attention every week — making sure you can focus on enjoying your time here without worrying about dust, crumbs, or smudges.
